My little Cam, just turned 5! I can hardly believe it. He's such a sweetheart. He chose bugs for a theme for his party. Here is a look at his cake - complete with homemade bugs, gummy worms and Oreo dirt. We had the kids make binoculars and had a nature hunt in the front yard. Then the kids helped me create an obstacle course in the backyard where the kids had to go over and under and hope over logs and such while avoiding the bugs and snakes we drew with sidewalk chalk.. It was a lot of fun. We also played "Snake" with a rope and got to pop balloons with bug confetti inside of them. All in all, I think the kids had a great time. Wish I had taken more pictures ( I didn't even get one of all my cupcakes with bugs) We really really love our little Cameron and I'm glad he had a fun special day.
( Note to self: Next time I'm pregnant for one of my kids' birthdays, we're doing Chuck-E-Cheese or Bowling. It was too much work and I'm seriously feeling the affects now.)
Hi! I'm Shelly - mother of 5 and wife to the best man in the world. We love to play games and watch movies together. I have a passion for crafting in all it's forms - sewing, scrapbooking, bow making, painting, mod podge, you name it and I'll try it. Hope you enjoy our family adventures and crafts!
How I Became Shared Jelly
When my husband and I first got married we used to get messages on our answering machine for "Shared" and "Jelly" instead of Jared and Shelly. The first time we chuckled a little over it and by the fourth or fifth time, we decided the name should stick somewhere. And so, I've been sharing jelly all over the internet since. Enjoy!
