About me

Hi! I'm Shelly - mother of 5 and wife to the best man in the world. We love to play games and watch movies together. I have a passion for crafting in all it's forms - sewing, scrapbooking, bow making, painting, mod podge, you name it and I'll try it. Hope you enjoy our family adventures and crafts!

How I Became Shared Jelly

When my husband and I first got married we used to get messages on our answering machine for "Shared" and "Jelly" instead of Jared and Shelly. The first time we chuckled a little over it and by the fourth or fifth time, we decided the name should stick somewhere. And so, I've been sharing jelly all over the internet since. Enjoy!

Crocheted Headband with Felt Flower Clips

Super fun to have choices and different color combinations with your hair clips and head bands.

I love having the alligator clip backed bows for easy versatility Just change out the flowers to match what you're wearing.
(You can find this here in my Etsy shop)

Also I tried something a little new with these hand stitched felt flowers.  Layered circles with button centers.  Cute, right?

As seen here.

Baby Gift Sets

I'd like to show you what I've been working on in my Etsy Shop lately.
Instead of trying to guess what people want in a baby gift set, I am trying something a little new. I posted up my baby items and am going to let the buyer choose which items they want.  You can pick your favorite 5 items for $20.

Here is the boy set:
And the girl set:

Which items would you choose?

Big Pile of Leaves

I finally got around to cleaning up the front yard. We have a huge tree that's been littering the lawn with leaves. It was about time.  And so, we had a huge pile of leaves all gathered up.  The kids had a blast jumping and throwing them around until I had to throw them all away.

New Flower Bobby Pins

I had fun making some new bobby pins out of different colored circles the other day. Thought I'd share.  They are super easy - just stack some fabric circles in the color of your choosing and sew together with beads.  Attach to a bobby pin and Voila!  You can find these beauties in my etsy shop.
