Happy Birthday Mikyla

 

My one and only girl just turned 6!  We are so happy to have her, even with all the drama she brings us, she is still our sweetheart.  She is so thoughtful and protective of our family.  She is creative and makes us art all day long.  She is always thinking of some beautiful creation she needs to get down on paper.  We are thankful for all she brings to our family.  Love you, Weetsie.

Outside my window......Another sunny day in SoCal (I miss the snow)
I am thinking.........Will my kids ever get big enough that they won't cry over everything?
I am thankful for...........My husband being alright after getting in a motorcycle accident. . .My children
From my Kitchen.......Kids lunches being made this morning (by the kids not me, Yay!)
I am wearing......... black pants, t-shirt and a sweater
I’m creating......Thanksgiving decorations
I am going........to Costco and the gas station
I am reading........nothing at the moment - how boring. Suggestions?
I am hoping.........for a baby girl, although I'm pretty sure it will be another boy (I'll find out at Christmas)
I am hearing...........kids chattering around the house and some vigorous coloring action to my left
Around the house........the dishes are actually done this morning and the toys are picked up - Amazing!
One of my favorite things........scrapbooking - I'm dying to get my pictures developed.
A few plans for the week ahead........Shopping at ToysRUs for Mikyla's birthday, Disneyland for Mikyla's birthday tomorrow, Planning for Mutual Wednesday, Meetings, Thanksgiving Party for Playgroup and Rock Band Party for Young Women

Trunk-Or-Treat

Our Trunk-Or-Treat at church was a blast this year.  We had a chili cook-off.  The chili was yummy, although I know the kids just ate the candy and goodies more than the chili.  Oh well, once a year, right?  They had fun in the games - cake walk, donut game(above), ring toss, spider toss, bounce house - not to mention the spook alley and shaved ice to top the night off.  We truly enjoyed ourselves.  Then, of course, in true fashion, we came home with buckets and tummies full of candy.

Happy Birthday Big Boy

My first baby turned 7 this month.  And all that does is make me feel older.  I'm so proud of what a good kid my little Hunter is.  So tender-hearted and extremely mechanically minded.  This year he had a Star Wars themed birthday.  It was so much fun to see him with all his cousins and little friends.  He truly is growing up more every day.  I really love Hunter for everything he brings to our growing family.  His little brain is always working on something so he's often distracted, but he comes up with some amazing things.  We truly appreciate our little "buddy."

In case you didn't notice the new widget.  I'm pregnant.  Almost 9 weeks now.  Feeling sick and tired, but excited.  Baby #5 is on it's way.  We even got to have an ultrasound and see our little "peanut" last week.

Happy Autumn!

I'm not sure what it is exactly, but I always get excited for the fall.  The smells, the chill in the air, the holidays coming. . . I just love everything about it.  And so, I wish you all a HAPPY AUTUMN!!!
